Nitro is a really cool guy with a steady mentality. As a hunter, he has gone from strength to strength. Since he was a small puppy he had a steady point, and he almost learned to retrieve by himeself, he just loves to carry things!
Nitro is a natural talent when it comes to finding and managing birds, which early resulted in many fine situations with shot birds with him. 2007, when he was three years old Nitro advanced into winnerclass in winter fieldtrial with two 1st prize open class two consecutive days, one day, he was also the best dog in his class. In the autumn trial the same season he won his first 1st prize in winnerclass after he had worked exemplary for a whole day. His highest qualifications Nitro at the mountain trial, but it is in the woods he really shows his qualities. In the autumn of 2010 he proved that he also mastered field hunting, when he won two 1st prizes in two days, and also and became Swedish hunting champion.
Nitro is calm and methodical in contact with birds, it's fascinating to see him analyze bird scent and then reverse back and sound out into the bird's exact position, all to avoid scaring up the bird. He is also points birds in the trees! He may be called from his point, and have also reported spontaneously. When it comes to the avance, one as hunter have the advantage of being able to choose which kind of avance you like at the moment: a careful run avance to hang on a running capercailie, or an explosive one to quickly get a flock of grouse or pheasant in the air. Nitro is also a safe retriever on land and in water, birds that are still alive he gently fetches without damage.
At home in the flock, he is the cool element. When the bitches argue and make too much noise, he goes quiet in between as a "peacemaker". The girls have respect for his calm authority without having to resort to strong-arm methods. He hates fighting, but loves people and other dogs. Love, peace and understanding! In connection with hunting and trial, he is 100% quiet. Nitro has everything you could wish in a dog, a cuddly and calm family member, healthy strong and beautiful and last but not least a loyal hunting companion that fills your backpack with game!
He has a litter with the Norwegian female Tierbuas Enya born 8 March 2010. The puppies are still young and untried, but like their parents very calm and safe. It will be interesting to follow their careers ahead. In the spring of 2011 a litter between Nitro and our own Briskbreeze Alida was born. We also plan to mate him with Kungshällans BS Freja in the future.

Strimma is our first dog, she came to us from 
Arvidsjaur in 2002 and lit the spark for my husbands hunting over pointing dog. Her name means stripe, from the narrow stripe she has on her forehead.
She is a temperamental bitch with a lot of speed. She has been easy to train, and has a passion for water of God's grace. Her hunting instinct is huge, it is a joy to see Strimma hunt in the mountains. She seeks wide and has a strong engine that keeps forever, a real hunting machine she is! In all field trials we have participated with her, she has received good feature points, we have advanced up to the winner class with her as she has 2X2:nd price. She has her merites has on mountain trial, but we mostly hunt in the forest with her as the hunting ground is just around the corner. With age, she has become an experienced forest hunter, which slides forward like a cobra on on the capercailies tracks. Strimma´s show results are nothing to brag about, even if she is just as beautiful in her master and mistress eyes. As an adult, she 2X2: a price and 2x1: nd prize in huntingclass. But she has the ultimate constitution of covering ground and sustained gallop over vast expanses, she is virtually inexhaustible and has never shown signs of lameness or other ailments. Strimma also likes dogsledding, with other owners than us bad skiers, she had probably gone far in nordic dog racing. In winter, Strimma is a faithful companion during ski trips.
Strimma has given us two beautiful litters, 2006, with SEUCH SJCH Juniper and 2008 with KS Baron vom Donauland. The daughter Kungshällans JS Beretta from the first litter stayed in the kennel. At this writing, Strimma has become a sophisticated and gray-haired lady, and she is retired from field trials and breeding. But she will always be our no:1 who introduced us to the hunt over pointing dog and put up with all our mistakes that novice GSP owners. Now we will let her spend the rest of her days with us hunting and feeling good as long as she can.

J Ormkullens Frej (owner: Rolf Sundqvist)
Frej is owned by Rolf Sundqvist, Maria´s father. 
Rolf has owned GSP:s for many years, in the 80's, he competed at the elite level in nordic dogsledding with his two GSP:s. Rolf was very fond of our Nitro, therefore Cobra's second litter became a certain choice for Rolf when when the time came for him to buy a new hunting dog 2005. Frej is the "Danish model" GSP, long legs and elegant. He has the same stable mentality and is as calm as Nitro. Frej showed its first hunting season winter -06 that he is a mountain racer of great proportions! His search is maturing rapidly. Dad got to shoot birds over him the first huntingseason. He is now a full-featured and reliable hunting dog, Rolf begins to realize that Frej is probably the best dog he ever owned.
In October 2007 att the age of two years, Frey won his two 1:st prizes in open class fieldtrial and advanced to the winner class. In the winter trial in Mittådalen 2008 he was stumbling near to be a hunting champion over the weekend, but Rolf had missed to train throwed fetch of grous with him, and he ran in the throw. There was an annoying mistake that will not happen again!
The showcareer looks a lot like Strimma´s, Frej is the same long-legged Danish model that most often blue ribbons in the ring. But he is "built for speed" and he never looses his frenesy on a hard day of hunting in the mountains!

Beretta "Bettan", comes from Strimma´s first litter born 2006 with SUCH SJCH Juniper. She was the only female in the litter and stayed with us at the kennel. Bettan is a cute girl in "pocket size" with lots of temperament. Basic dressage and retrieving training was fast to learn for her, she is quick and willing to learn. She is speedy as her mother, and keeps good contact. Unfortunately she has got bad luck from the beginning. Her first two years the grouse population was very bad, so it took a while for her mature as a hunting dog. In autumn 2008, it loosened up, and now she is a durable and good mountain hunter. In the forest, she is a bit too eager on the bird yet, hopefully it will be better as she grows older.
In show Bettan has won first prize in both young and open class, and certificate quality. We will continue with the showcareer when she has got some hunting trial merites. In autumn 2010 her bad luck continued, she broke her thigh bone when we were in southern sweden training on field. She is still not restored. We really hope she will be able to hunt again!
Because we place high demands on the dogs we breed in our kennel, we will not take puppies from Bettan, her mentality doesn´t fulfill our demands. She is weak but still has some agressions to foreign dogs, which is a bad combination. But she is an affectionate and cuddly family member who is also good hunting dog so she will stay with us. Hopefully we can continue hunting and participate in fieldtrials and shows with her.

"Dimma" (means "mist") we bought from Finland as a "crown princess" to Nitro, the plan is that they will keep our kennel on into the future. Dimma has a 100% Hege-Haus bloodlines. Hege-Haus is a well known German GSP kennel that was founded already in the 1930´s, and from there, the foremost German dogs are found in many successful dogs pedigrees. Dimma´s father Armin is both beautiful and excellent hunting dog with a very stable and nice temperament, he has already successful offsprings both in Sweden and Finland. April is the cousin of Armin, also she is very beautiful and strong hunting dog.
Dimma has so far proved to be an alert little lady with lots of hunting passion. At 5 months of age she showed great work on partridges. In fall 2009, she showed up a conscious hunting pattern in the forest. Her first real hunting autumn 2010 has been a pleasant experience for us, it felt like hunting with a fully skilled dog! She has performed numerous works fine bird both in mountains and forests. She is scent sensitive and clever to locate bird. Her first trial merit was on field, where she received a second prize in youngdog class with great reviews. Appearance-wise, she is very typical of Hege-Haus model, strong and well angulated, with well developed chest. She looks like the original GSP dogs you can se on old black and white german pictures. We have so far been to two shows with her, but managed to plot judges who prefered slender dogs. Her siblings in Finland have been experiencing great show success so hopefully Dimma will get better results in the future shows.
